Happening in May! This year Pleasant Hill will volunteer at our local McAdory schools field days. This is such a fun and positive way to connect with children in our community. Last year we participated with Grace Klein, Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church and Created Ministries in one of the local field days. It was such a hit that we plan to serve in all 5 schools this year. We will need volunteers to pick up the bottles from the Grace Klein warehouse and deliver to the schools when they are available. Volunteers are needed for pickup, delivery and handing out at the event. If you would like to help with this community outreach, please click the button for details.

High School Homeless Student Population

Among other negative consequences, children who experience homelessness have lower high school graduation rates and higher rates of chronic absenteeism, which can lead to weaker academic performance. And not graduating from high school puts young people at greater risk of becoming homeless. To find out how you can support McAdory high school students experiencing food insecurity and homelessness, please reach out to leechampion@jefcoed.com.

Priority Kids & First Priority Club

Priority Kids Clubs are Christian based clubs made available to students during the school week. Clubs meet one day a week before school and share interactive devotions with the students. FP Kids & First Priority Clubs teach truth and character traits through engaging Bible lessons, music, games, and service to others. Each group is supported by a faculty representative and led by a group of trained parents and adults from our school and community.

Thank you to everyone who donated towards the school gift cards at Christmas. Each of the 5 McAdory schools received ten cards to distribute to families in need. This is an ongoing and annual ministry that we hope to continue for many years to come. Please contact the church office if you would like to give directly to this outreach ministry.
